Materials:

Nylon — made from synthetic polymer materials and then made into fibers, filaments, bristles, or sheets. Nylon is durable, water resistant and flame retardant giving it superb wearing strength due to the materials superior strength to weight ratio. Nylon flags typically withstand resistance to UV radiation. Nylon brands: Nyl-Glo, Durawavez, Perma-Nyl, Sun-Glo

Nyl-Glo® — Made from 100% SolarGuard® nylon for all weather outdoor use and flies in the slightest breeze. Suitable for residential or commercial use, featuring sewn stripes and embroidered stars, white canvas heading with weather resistant brass grommets or banner style with pole sleeves and leather or Velcro tabs. Strong and durable with special parachute cloth treatment that reduces sun and chemical deterioration and back by one-year ColorFast Guarantee. A good all-weather flag that flies in the lightest breeze. Available in sizes 12 in. x 18 in. through 30 ft. x 60 ft.

Signature® — Made from 100% UV and weather resistant SolarGaurd® nylon for all weather outdoor and indoor use. When the finest and highest quality flag will do, suitable for residential or commercial use, featuring a canvas heading with grommets or lined pole sleeve, extra-large ultra-bright embroidered stars, lock-stitch sewn stripes, and attractive presentation packaging. Signature flags make a great gift are carry a one-year ColorFast Guarantee. Available in sizes 2½ ft. x 4 ft., 3 ft. x 5 ft., and 4 x 6 ft.

Government Spec — Made from Perma-Nly® industrial strength 70 denier lightweight nylon. G-Spec flags are made in accordance with DDD-F-416F and U.S. Code, Title 4. Featuring heavy canvas duck heading constructed to government specifications, solid brass toothed grommets, and embroidered stars and sewn stripes. Available in 2 ft. 4-7/16 in. x 4 ft. 6 in. through 10 ft. x 19 ft.

Durawavez® — Made from 100% nylon solar shield material that has a superior strength-to-weight ratio for outdoor use. Durawavez flags offer the optimum combination of elegance and durability for every purpose. Mildew resistant, sheds water, lightweight fly-ability in the slightest breeze, fire-resistant, and features embroidered or sewn stars and sewn stripes using a lock stitch for longevity. Finished with strong, polyester canvas headings and spurred brass grommets. Available in 12 in. x 18 in. through 30 ft. x 60 ft.

Federal Artglo® — Made from nylon taffeta and yarn-dyed and loomed from the finest Rayon Bemberg available, the very best for indoor and parade use. Featuring high gloss shine, hand sewn stripes, embroidered stars, and finished with flannel lined pole headings and genuine Velcro tabs.

Colonial Nyl-Glo® — Made of 100% SolarGuard® nylon for indoor and parade use. Featuring high gloss, densely embroidered stars and lock-stitched hand sewn stripes and hems. Finished with flannel-lined pole heading, Velcro tabs and golden yellow rayon fringe.

Sun-Glo® — Made from 100% UV resistant SolarGuard® nylon for all weather outdoor use and flies in the lightest breeze. Sun-Glo flags are fully dyed designed so the stars glow bright white when flying in the sun, featuring lock-stitched hems, heavy duck heading and durable brass grommets. Suitable for residential or commercial use, lower priced and more economical alternative to Nyl-Glo flag. Available in sizes 8 in. x 12 in. through 4 ft. x 6 ft.

2-Ply Spun Polyester - also known as “spun poly is a synthetic material made by spinning 100% polyester fibers into yarns and then made into thread which consists of two ply constructions. 2-Ply spun polyester is the strongest, longest lasting flag fabric, able to withstand strong wind conditions, intense sun, dirt, moisture, and unpredictable weather conditions. 2-Ply Polyester flags are an excellent option for industrial, institutional or commercial use. 2-Ply Polyester brands: Tough-Tex® & Polywavez®.

Tough-Tex® — Made from heavyweight spun polyester, the most durable all weather outdoor flag ever developed. Open weaved polyester engineered to reduce fabric stress, designed especially for industrial, commercial and institutional use or wherever severe climatic conditions exist such as high wind areas. Featuring white canvas headings with grommets, sewn stripes and embroidered stars. Tough-Tex flags are ideal for daily, long-term display and carry a one-year ColorFast Guarantee. Available in sizes 3 ft. x 5 ft. through 30 ft. x 60 ft..

Polywavez® — Made from heavy 2-ply 100% spun polyester for maximum outdoor use and durability. Polywavez can withstand strong wind conditions, intense sun, dirt, moisture, and unpredictable weather conditions. Featuring embroidered or sewn stars and sewn stripes, and finished with tough polyester canvas heading and spurred brass grommets. Excellent option for industrial and institutional use. Available in 2½ ft. x 4 ft. through 30 ft. x 60 ft..

Cotton — Is a natural fiber that is a soft, staple fiber that comes from the seedpod of cotton plants. Cotton is used to make many textiles and fabrics and can be knit or woven into cloth. Cotton flags have a traditional texture and rich vibrant color appearance that is best for indoor presentations or ceremonial use. Cotton flags can be used outside with caution but are not weather resistant and do not wick water effectively. If you need a classic and traditional looking flag, this is a great option. Cotton brands: Bulldog, Reliance, and Ultrawavez.

Bulldog® — Made from 100% domestic heavyweight cotton bunting for all weather outdoor use. This classic flag has a vintage look and feel, featuring sewn stripes, embroidered stars, finished with lock-stitched hems, heavy duck heading and durable brass grommets. Suitable for residential or commercial use, ideal for historical homes or buildings and popular with owners of Colonial and Georgian style homes. Available in sizes 2 ft. x 3 ft. through 8 ft. x 12 ft.

Reliance® — Made from 100% domestic cotton sheeting stripes sewn together and fully blended 70% polyester and 30% cotton dyed stars for outdoor use. The Reliance flag has a traditional texture and appearance that is suitable for residential use or limited patriotic holiday display, with maximum appearance value for the budget minded. Available in 3 ft. x 5 ft.

Ultrawavez® — Made from cotton bunting material and all dyed for rich, vivid colors and has an extra rugged weave for durability. Featuring embroidered stars and sewn stripes, finished with tough polyester canvas heading and spurred brass grommets. Available in 3 ft. x 5 ft. through 6 ft. x 10 ft.

Blended materials and other flags:

Republic® — Made from 70% polyester and 30% cotton blend all dyed design for outdoor use. Republic flags combine the look and feel of cotton with lightweight polyester economical blend and finished with a canvas heading and brass grommets. Suitable for residential use or limited patriotic holiday display, or an exceptional buy for the budget-minded. Available in 3 ft. x 5 ft.

RePatriot® — Made from premium recycled plastic from yarn that is created from 100% post consumer recycled material derived from PET bottles and then woven into fabric which is dyed red, white, and blue for indoor or outdoor use. Featuring embroidered stars and stripes with lock-stitched seams for durability. Available in 3 ft. x 5 ft. through 5 ft. x 8 ft.

Features:

Heading — Canvas, polyester, or other material used to hoist a flag or banners.

Grommets — Brass rings or eyelets traditionally in the heading for mounting flags or banners with clips or cord.

Pole Hem — Sewn sleeve that a pole is passed through for mounting indoor flags, parade flags and banners, and outdoor decorative garden banners or banner flags.

Embroidered Stars — Each star is densely filled with brilliant white embroidery yarn that shines brightly against the rich blue background.

Sewn Stripes — Seems are double-needle stitched with premium, extra strength polyester thread, color-matched to stripes with back-stitch reinforcement.

Appliqué — Ornamental needlework sewing technique in which pieces of fabric are sewn or stuck on to a larger piece to form a pattern or design.

Single/Reverse Flag — A single flag that reads correctly from the front and reverse from the rear.

Halyard — Rope used internally or externally for an outdoor flagpole to raise and lower a flag.

Fringe — Decorative fringe in different color options that are sew around the perimeter of flag and banners. Fringed flags are for indoor presentation or parade use.
